Help Us Help Families

This year the Denver PDCA Charity Painting Project is the painting of Family Guest rooms at the Denver Ronald McDonald House at 1300 E. 21st Ave. in Denver.  The painting work includes the repainting of walls in thirty one (31) family guest rooms, where families can be near their seriously ill or injured children while they are being treated at nearby hospitals.  

The Denver PDCA is asking all metro Denver Painting Pros to donate labor time and to bring some crew members to complete painting work during two weekends in November.   Help is being sought from both Denver PDCA Members and non-members.  The family guest rooms wall painting work will take place Saturday and Sunday, November 13th and 14th and again the following weekend, Saturday and Sunday, November 20th and 21st.  All four days, work will commence at 8:00 am and conclude at 4:30 pm.  Lunch will be provided all four days.  Get there early for coffee and donuts.

Driving Direction to Denver Ronald McDonald House:

Coming from the North

Take 1-25 to Park Avenue exit-will see Coors Field on the right from the exit ramp 
Stay on Park Avenue- at Stout you have to turn left to stay on Park. 
Turn Right at the end of the block to continue on Park.  Follow the signs!  
Turn left on 20^th Avenue-there is a Safeway and a shopping area on your left-it comes in at an angle
Stay on 20^th Avenue-Former Children’s Hospital is on your right
Go through the stoplight at Downing and the House is the first driveway on the right
The House is a large brick building

Coming from the South

Take 1-25 North to Downing Street Exit.
Turn Right (North) on Downing.  Eventually the streets will become numbered streets.
When you get to Colfax (15^th) Downing ends so take a left and then an immediate right to stay on Downing
Turn right on 21^st Avenue.  There is a stoplight.  The House is the 1^st driveway on the right.   It is a large brick building

 Coming from the East

Take 1-70 West to Colorado Blvd
Turn left onto Colorado Blvd
Turn right on 23^rd Avenue
Turn left on Downing at the stoplight
Turn left on 21^st Avenue.The House is the 1^st driveway on the right.  It is a large brick building

 Coming from the West

Take I-70 East to 1-25 South
Take 1-25 to Park Avenue exit-will see Coors Field on the right from the exit ramp
Stay on Park Avenue-at Stout you have to turn left to stay on Park.  Turn Right at the end of the block to continue on Park.  Follow the signs!
